Oneida walleye 8/16

Pounded messenger shoals for hours yesterday afternoon. Caught 1 decent walleye in 8 fow. Fished out to 40 feet. Hardly any bites. Fished jigs and cranks. Where are they at?

well from what ive seen on my chart plotter there in the same places they always are , only now there following huge truck size schools of juvinile perch and chad, i havent heard of anyone limiting out on the eyes in a while, if they are i would love to know how there doing it.....

I fished otisco the last two weekends but the two before that I did very well just north the bouys near shackleton shoals trolling perch color magnum wally divers down 20-24 ft in 35 ft of water gps speed 2.8. The eyes are much bigger in otisco!!

they are starting to poke around in the thick weeds in 10 fow. probe the weeds with live bait and a sinker. especially near rock points and creek mouths. i been doing the afternoon thing, they been turning on just after the sun goes behind the trees.
