SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Best day I have had out on the water so far this year and sharing it with my father and watching his face as the bows were leaping out of the water made it that much better!!

I use dipseys tied to 30lbs P-Line braid and leader the spoons with 25lbs flurocarbon. I prefer to use the braid as there is no stretch in the line and am able to really see just how much wobble the spoons are putting out. I find that there is also much less drag in the water having such a small diameter line like the braid and gives a more accurate lure depth.

Good luck and happy fishing!

Another beautiful day out on the water resulting in 6 fish and 3 misses. 4 Chinook and 2 Rainbows all in 200-225ft of water with a lure depth of 40-45ft on dipseys. Watermelon seemed to be the lure of choice today in the sunny weather with a black, orange and silver NK catching the rest. Tried fishing closer to shore with a couple of hits but no takers. All in all, a great day on the water!!

I've been heading out from whitby a couple times this year, I am new to the big water fishing and haven't had the best luck as of yet, does anyone have any pointers for locating salmon and bows this time of year ????
