There's this little Vietnamese parlor in Toronto... ;)

Thanks. That is all the info I needed  . Don't worry, you tell me your secret it won't hurt you - everything is released for someone else to enjoy.

The Credit gets much larger runs, but since the kings are stopped at the Streetsville Dam, I would suspect that more salmon make it to the spawning gravel on the Bronte. Steelhead get lifted above the Dam on the Credit and have great spawning success once they are able to reach the cold water upper sections.

John at the CRAA could probably get you a lot more information.

Thanks for the info. There clearly is some successful spawning in the Credit unless most of those fish are stocked.

The Credit River is where the Province gets their salmon eggs/milt from for the hatchery, so as the brood stock stream, the Credit is heavily stocked.

Bronte's a butcher shop - very few fish last long enough to spawn. Guys are walking out of there with 5+ fish per person and garbage bags full of roe which "they take to fish with" but end up snagging or netting the fish anyway!
