Why on earth would someone feel the need to pull 300 eet of copper of the river mouths and then complain of they get cut off .. kind of like a guy using 10 lb line and not having a whole lot of control ... got a salmon on and he has 300 feet or more of line already and the boats are stacked like cordwood makes a whole lotta sence

Bingo!!!

Combat fishing is no place for long coppers or leadcore.

You want to run them fine.

Your responsability to keep them out of harms way. Nobody elses.

100 + boats working a small area at times, all have the same right to that water.

Nobody is special enough to take up a football field or more of that water.

Most Captains are very respectful of other boats and most have a lot of experience and know how to fish in those conditions.
