j-plugs correct rigging

When fishing with j-plugs, do you use a snap swivel, or tie directly to the line ?

You can use a snap just make sure it is small enuff so the lure can free float up the line. I usually tie direct to the hooks.

Save your money & tie direct. The bead chain is good enough as they don't spin and more important , I think they work better without . Also if you hang up & break off , they will float. About half in my J collection are from floaters .
