SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Went out of I-Bay with Reel Crazy, Capt. Broz. What a day! Started with browns, boated 3, including a 14lb 14oz derby entry. It was the biggest brown caught for the day in the derby and currently #6. Went deeper for lake trout around 845am. Caught our limit, including a 20lb 10oz entry in the derby. Also turned out to be the biggest lake trout entry for the day and currently #2 in lake trout. Went out deeper after we got our limits in lakers and hooked into a 9lb steelhead and 2 11-12lb kings. Non stop fish all day. Major kudos to Capt Broz! 2 derby fish in one 8 hour trip!! Pictures to follow of the derby entry fish when I get them on the computer.

Sweet - we had crazy marks out of Sandy but only managed 5 of eight, mix of kings and lakers, nothing huge. What were they hitting for you?

Spoons and cowbells. I don't remember what color cowbell, but it was on fire. At one point, it brought in a fish and it was only back in the water 30 seconds and it had another laker.

We were spoons and spin doctor/flies. When we switched to cowbells (and slowed down a little), we stopped catching anything.
