best launch site?

heading out saturday for first trip ever on ontario, i have a 19' boat. was thinking about putting in at port ontario, on the salmon river. was wondering if that will put me close to the fish? or is there a better launch in mexico bay for me?

Depends on the wind. Pine Grove is very LOW!! Mex Pt is 4mi south of the Salmon river. And is a much better launch.
