SD's and flies on SWR

i am setting up a swr rod, question is do i run a 2 or 3 color setup, and does anyone run spin doctors and flies behind the leadcore?

not sure what swr means but looking at it i think your talking about a diffrent style of leadcore. i try to stay away from sd's but i will run pro trolls. i dont like the idea of constanst spinning on that much line out with a fish on. i think i use to run 5-7 colors. if i rember right it takes you down 35is ft. we changed over to copper. 300ft of 45# will run you down to 75-80 ft. its a lot deeper with less line outstill no sd on there but have put pt without rotator. hopes this helps

you can run 2 or 3 colors but most people like 2 more. as far as running with a flasher/fly that would negate the lead action due to the added paddle drag. the lead is suppose to rise and fall with boat turns and speed changes. this is best with a low drag lure like a spoon.
