This is a very basic question that I would love to hear from anyone about.

I read on J plug packages that they are supposed to be fished behind a dipsey or flasher. can these be fished by themselves like a stickbait or spoon? Are there any off the wall techniques to fish these?

Thanks!

When The Kings get in real close and high in the water put them 50 ft behind a slide diver set on 5 setting and then put the diver 25 to 35 ft out off each side of the boat.Tip I learned from an Oswego Captain Rick Germain.Very exciting when the fish hits them. good Luck.

clean and fast AND behind dipsys on a #3 setting!! especially off the mouth of the big salmon. Killer this time of the year.

I go with down speed. I use a sub troll. usually 2.5-2.7 BUT on occasion I have hit them when they wanted them slow at 1.7-2.0
