We fished for a few hours Saturday morning off the pier with about 15 other boats. We had two releases but nobody home. Washed J-Plugs and mag spoons. It was too rough to go off shore so we just stuck it out off the piers. We only saw a couple other hook-ups.

The excitement for the day came from a big tug and barge that literallly drove up our rear. We were at least a quarter mile off the pier heads on a northerly troll trying the outskirts of the river plume. Our spoons were probably under the barge at one point, it got that close. We basically had to turn and run from it. They were going out deeper to dump soil. Needless to say, I didn't appreciate it.

Here's a couple pics I took after we got out of its way.
