what are the best weeks (or date range) typically to take a trip to Quinte for walleye?

Personally, last week october for numbers. Surface temps in the 40's. Numbers go down hill the later I fished. I'm sure other opinions out there. Landshark spends a lot of time there. I have not been up last few years. Check quintefishing.com for info. Look for Sheldon Hatch, quality guide and grew up fishing quinte.

We fish right up till ice up and it seems the latter the better and they catch them well through the ice. It's a great place for big fish

I dont remember fishing quinte in Sept/oct. I usually take the boy to quinte thanksgiving week with Sheldon, but we are gonna do muskie this year.

We did have 5 trips in January this year (ha still 2012) and smoked em good. Lake was still open.

Weekends are a sheetshow out there. Weekdays are better.
