SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

i had no idea what it was until my father in law told me, but i first thought it was a tornado and was ready to cut the lines and run. this waterspout was coming right at us as we were working our way out to the east of the river, and then it just broke up. below is a pic. we boated the first coho of the year on my boat and I was happy for him to be the one to catch it. myself, i've never caught a mature coho in the fall. beautifull fish. caught on a flatlined green challenger deep diver stickbait.

as we were headed out of the river this morning, we had a hard rip on a stinger mag NBK, but no one home when i got to the pole. i think we should have stuck to the river.
