Duck opening day

We had a great opener. Five shooters with a limit of woodies, 4 mallards, and a teal. Slash did a great jog of retrieving, even though he's not a lab!.

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhey! Its wabbit season!!!!!!!!!!! The doggie dog looks like Its had enuf water for a day, Hope ya gave it a good rubdown and a couple days rest..I used to raise springers and know that look..

Actually we washed, dried, and rested him and took him again this morning. He did another stellar job. At it again on Monday and Tuesday.

good job. This weekend is the opener for us. Great crop of local Mallards this year. Low water level is making us change our game plans a bit this year.

Nice Job Kevin! Just finished our season opener over here in Vt and have to say quite dissappointed in the number of ducks around so far?? Not much gunning but still fun out with my son! Enjoy!!

Our early duck season has ended . Now on to muzzle load riffle deer hunting for a couple weeks till goose and duck opens again.
