That is a custom painted and taped spoon. Almost the same as the spoon we used in the Sodus ProAM.

It is indeed an NK aluminum mag spoon. Pat Distaffen taped a couple of those up for Stacey and me a number of years back. A few charter guys had been using them. They were okay for silvers but absolute killer for big LT fished five feet off the bottom about 5-10 off the ball.
