Had a great day of jigging despite the cold weather and the wind. Had the boat launched out of branchport by 7 am made a half mile run down the lake and started marking fish right away and had our first fish in the boat by 7:10. Fished about 100yrd stretch where most of the fish were caught untill around 10am when the bite started to slow down. We then ran down the lake about a mile on the west side to one of my gps marks and didnt mark as many fish but still caught a hand full there. Ran to another gps mark about 2 miles south of the bluff on the east side. Marked a lot there but they werent to willing to bit down there. The wind picked back up so we ran back to were we started and the fish were still there but ended up running across the lake to finish the day off. We caught fish everywhere we stoped. I usually caught the majority of the fish on plastics but a green and white buckshot spoon worked the best for me although a lot of fish were caught on white plastics. Caught most of the LT in 85-120 FOW. We ended the day with 23 LT with two of them weighing 5.6lbs and another 5.14lbs. ALL N All a great day on the water.
