OK which lake to go to Cayuga or Seneca fall trolling which one is best and why. South end, middle of lake, shallow or deep??? Need to have a fish fry for deer camp this weekend :beer::beer:

If it were me the choice would be Seneca right now because of the serious lamprey activity reported on Cayuga. Launch out of Sampson State Park and troll for lakers, browns and landlocks starting right out in front of the marina. If you are real lucky you may see browns right in the marina itself. My hunch is that the launch at the north end (Geneva) in the State Park would have low water conditions and this is also thecase at the Chamber of Commerce launch ramp (which also issignificantly "grassed in")

Seneca, Launch out of the south end, as soon as you make it past the bridge set up some sticks and make a turn at the wall and head to the west side fish 10-65 ft down... The bite is there!

But like stated above if you want Lamphrey, Cayuga is deadly! :o

Ok wasn't just me... 5 fish, 3 small browns and 2 tiny bows. Had two good releases on the rigger 90' down with flasher fly. Lots of marks in south end tight lipped fish though. Will try again thanks for input. Hot lure of day was M Stinger Blue UV.
