Anyone still trolling for browns or steelies off of Salmon, L. Salmon, Grindstone areas? Thinking of making the drive on Sat. AM, but wondering if any action still offshore (vs. in rivers).

No,

I'm not still trolling but yes, you can catch Browns and Steel in the lake now.

2 year old Salmon out in deeper water as well.

I used to leave the boat in into Nov.

This tiime of year is you actually have to fish for them.

No more driving to the pack of boats to get on fish.

Also make dam sure you have a fool proof method of communication and your boat is in perfect mechanical condition as more than likely you will be alone out there and help is not easy to find.

Good luck

If your boat is over 21' long you are exempt from wearing a life preserver, still a good idea to wear it though, as it makes the body easier to find when the search turns into a recovery operation.
