This morning I was made aware of a problem at the NFTA Small Boat Harbor, seems that two different boats came running into the SBH at full wide open throttle. This caused all the docks to start rolling and upset the workers trying to break down those docks for winter storage on land. They were so upset they quit work and walked off the job and a lot of words were passed between them and Chris who manages the NFTA Small Boat Harbor. So if this happens agian the SBH will be closed for the season!

Everyone we need to slowdown to the no wake speed way before entering the walls of the SBH,back where the water turns shallow coming off the main harbor where the boueys normaly are.Tell everyone you see when launching there as well,if we can't refrain from high speed to and from the dock within the SBH,we will loose access there!

Hey, if it's ok for Flo in the Progressive Boat Insurance Commercial, why not them.

Seriously though, what the heck are they thinking, sometimes we really are our own worst enemies.

That Progressive Commercial actually irritates the crap out of me as well, If one of their insured's put the hammer down and put their boat on plane in the NWZ of the marina like she does in the commercial and caused damage to other boats, they'd probably use that as grounds to decline the insurance claim.

If you have the boat numbers and file an information with a DEC Officer, these things will be straightened out qickly.
