Curious to know who empties their fuel tanks and who fills them right up before winterization. I ahvent decided yet, I do know the Marine Stabil will be in it though!

I had 242 gallons with more than enough Stabill w/ Ethanol Treatment in the ride before I took it from the ROC to Sodus. It's also a lot nicer not having to fill her up in the Spring with an empty bank account! Projects, winter storage, and the dock for the upcoming season all drain that sucker quick!

I keep them full with stabil tx. Both boats are now at 1/2 tank and I'm just waiting for prices to fall (?) then will top off. Trying startron this year.

I usually have a full tank or nearly full. I use Sta-Bil Marine formula year-round and kick it up for the winter storage. I have one of those 48 Gal. Translucent Plastic Gas tanks and have never had any water in my fuel-water filter so I just keep doing it the same way every year. I store my boat in a large unheated garage with a concrete floor so the temps are slow to move in either direction. I think that rapid temp changes are the bigger issue with condensation in fuel tanks.

I just store my boat with what is left in it (Sta-bil marine at every fill during the season). In the spring I put in 25 gallons of 93 octane to boost the octane of any old fuel.
