hey my name is Andy

I work on vancouver island But I am from Durham region on the north end of Lake Ontario.

The main reason I am here is to try different fishing methods than the norm, this winter(in Lake Ontario).

Here on the west coast, long lining is quite popular. So I am going to attempt long lining off the pier throughout

december and part of january. I am interested so see whats going on during these months using various baits, mainly live.

Any suggestion or tips would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Welcome to the site Andy. Check out the trib section and you may want to do a search on "kayak". Unfortunately there's some white stuff that buggers up the outlets during the winter around here. (southern shore) However some guys get there boats out on the Niagara all year. Good luck,
