Was thinking of doing the same, I hear that it used to be a winter hotspot for LL. Is this still the case, and can they be accessed without a boat, just wading?

Just my opinion but it's like a 50 foot long trib with one hole. I'd say follow the trib rule and "respect and protect". Probably best not to talk about it much on the inner tubes.

The plant is not in operation, so no warm water discharge.

RR

Don't know about the discharge or the fishing, but the stack was discharging steam all day yesterday, giving the appearance of being in operation.

I was up at camp. Plant was pushing steam out of the stacks today.

As part of bankruptcy and whatever the future of plant is, they are supposed to operate on and off, based on the need for electricity to continue. It will be sporadic until all is settled.

It is also in the works for Finger Lakes Land Trust to purchase the 300+ acres including shorline north of plant, then transfer land to DEC which would give public access to all that shorline.
