St Lawrence ducks and geese

Finally got out after the waterfowl and was pleasantly surprised by the number of mallards and geese in the upper river although the number of divers seems quite low.

Manage to get 4 mallards and a goose yesterday morning but the birds are very wary and difficult to fool.

NIce post Kevin! Wondered how the gunning has been up there? Now that the smoke pole is put away we are going to try & get a few more hunts in on Champlain..
