Is Clute Park launchable?

Not sure how big of a boat you have but we launched there no problem with a 20ft Trophy last weekend..... But still be carefull because it is real easy to back off the ramp there and it is a big drop, have seen many people do it and have actually seen axels lost on that ramp......

Think I saw "closed to April" on the sign when I went by last week but you might want to call as suggested

Glen harbor is closed. Clute is launchable. As stated above watch out for end of ramp. But plenty of water.. frog hollow has weekday hours if you need parts...

Maybe I'm confused, what is Clute park launch? right next to the Marina, the $5 launch with big parking? That was open tonight and normally where I launch.

I never knew there was a ramp problem there. Huh. Guess I'll be more careful.

Yeah thats where we are talking about but the launch is free when the campground is closed for the season... I think we thought you were asking if Glen Harbor Marina was open too but they are closed for the winter .... Yeah that launch can grab your trailer quick if your not cautious when the water is low, as long as you dont back past the last pylon on the ramp you will be fine.....
