I shot this deer in southeast Colorado last week. Unfortunately it had 6 chipped/broken tines and a broken main beam. He scores 154 5/8".

Most of the bucks I saw were busted up from fighting. This buck had a broken jaw and we felt he probably wouldn't have made it through the winter. I did have an either/or whitetail/muley tag. I archery hunted Muleys in Eastern Colorado a few years ago and was amased at the big whitetails I saw. I ended up shooting a 170s Muley on that trip and wanted to go back for the whitetails.

nice! the farthest south east i hunted was Colorado springs. a lot of elk and muleys there for sure. did see a few whitetails nothing big where we were though! Like most people we focused on the elk and antelope hunting! but wouldn't mind going back and trying to find some beauty's like yours in the creek bottoms!
