Canandaigua status of woodville launch?

Hi all,

according to the DEC website the woodville launch closed November 19 (for construction) and will "remain closed for approximately two months." Has anyone been by there recently or know if they are on schedule?

Drove by a few days ago and they were still working on it. The guy there said they probly won't be done until at least the end of the month.

Does anyone know if the DEC plans include making the ramp longer and dock area deeper?

HPORT - it never occurred to me that they WEREN"T making the ramp longer. If they do a construction project there and don't do that, it would blow my mind. On the other hand, i guess you never know....

I should have also mentioned that they are planning to make the ramp a lot longer. This will be a great improvement. It was really bad this fall.
