does anybody run this backer line on there copper rods. was wondering if there is any benifit. planning on having 100,200,300,  copper section rods. not sure to put ande premium ir buy some of this . thanks in advance . matt

BR backer for short coppers its the only way to go. Its board friendly, HiVis, and holds up well with sun. Standard mono wont give you the same performance and there isnt any need for expensive braid on short coppers (less then 300').

thanks that the answer i was looking for. gonna set up two 100' two 200' and two 300 foot coppers. now im off to order some ande premium for the down rigger rods.

Blood Run backer is fluorocarbon coated hi-vis, does not absorb water or UV, won't break down like regular mono.   Multi season use and much less expensive than braid.   They should have quite a bit of it for sale at the Lotsa show in a couple of weeks.
