Eagle Intellimap 500c waypoints

For the life of me I cannot figure out how to manually change the default numbering of waypoint names on this GPS. Following the instructions in the manual does not work and actually deletes my waypoint and assigns it a Lat./Long. of 00/00.

Does anyone have good instructions on how to edit a waypoint name on an Eagle or similar Lowrance unit?

I just picked up 2 of them, and I hope they work like a Lowrance. Other than that I cant help, sorry!

The best I have been able to do is to name one at a time and then restart the unit. If I try to name a sedcond waypoint it will basically set the coordinates to the north pole before I can finish!!

I have a call into tech support, but I geuss they got like an inch of snow in Oklahoma and it shut down te state for a few days... LOL....

Updated the software to version 1.7 and all is well now. If you don't have version 1.7, I'd recommend updating.
