Go Light mounting

Thinking about getting a Go Light for my 96' 2150 Pursuit.  Wondering which model and if I should mount it on the bow or radar arch?  Thanks:)

A few years ago,I took a boating safety course with my son. The teacher told us that the use of these big search lights on boats is illegal in NY state.

I am not sure whether or not he was right,but it's worth checking out before you invest.

I run a combo spot nav golight on my 18ft Lund

Remote is awesome but always carry a spare #23 battery for the remote. I use my remote a lot and go through a couple batteries a year

If the light is acting weird, change the battery and it'll be perfect again.

I mounted mine on the bow. Mounting it on the hardtop or radar might give a reflection off the deck that limits visiblity. A friend had his mounted back too far on his top and the light was useless.
