feedback on hummingbird 597ci sounder/gps?

Hi,

Im in the market for a new graph/gps and saw this one .It looked good but wondered if any of you have used one.I have a garmin 178c  now but I want a newer one for my searay.

I've got a 596HD on my boat.  It's a similar unit, it just doesn't have the GPS stuff.  As far as the sonar features on it... they work great, and I had a great picture on it all season last year.  No problem marking  my rigger weights, and no problems marking fish swimming in and out of our rigger set up.  For the price of those units, and the performance, I think they are a good bet.

Bought one last july and absolutely love it. I've put two hundred hours on the unit already between open water and ice fishing. No problem marking half ounce jigs in ninety plus ft of water while jigging lakers as well as tiny ice jigs in deep water as well. Gps is pretty spot on and the whole unit is extremely easy to use, pm me if you have any questions
