flasher and fly setup

I tried using a white 11" plastic flasher over the weekend. Every time that I tried it it twisted all the line up. when using these, do you have to troll slower? It seemed to look fine over the side.

Are you using good quality ball bearing swivels on the main line?  All flashers spin, that's what they do.  Without good swivels, you'll get horrible line twist.

yeah that I am. Using the SPRO coastlock swivels. I have 2 sizes, used the larger one in front of the dodger I think it is 60lb..I used I beleive 20 or 30 lb on the leader. I also used the 20 oe 30lb ones attached to my spoons. I think they might be a tad too big though cause my spoon action didnt seem to be ideal
