kueka lakers/ from shore?

heard a rumor that people were getting some lakers from the docks in hammondsport recently. Just wondering if anyone can confirm this, or give me any advice? if you do not want to make it public feel free to pm me.

Probably true.  Usually can get them from the break wall in Hammondsport sometimes as late as May.  Can try casting spoons and jigs or some guys cast out sawbellies on a slip float or egg sinker.

Can also reach them from the break wall at the boat launch at the state park (Branchport) this time of year.

I was trolling at the Hammondsport end of Keuka on Saturday and saw quite a few people fishing from the docks.  Saw a few lakers landed, but really weren't paying too close attention to that.  Bait fish were EVERYWHERE in about 15-20 fow right straight out from docks.  Good Luck!!
