Which planer boards should I buy for running lead core in the finger lakes?  Church tx 22, 44 or walleye?  Any other info appreciated.  Thanks,

if your running 10 colors i would go tx-44 they pull way out and have no trouble pulling the weight.  walleye boards will pull it   but not out as far to the side and they struggle especially on turns and bob alot....

i use the church boards for 5 color and 7, work fine. i agree with brokeoff about the 10 color.

SoTx 22's are good for up to about 7 colors? Then I need to switch to Tx 44's for 8 or 10 colors?

Church Walleye boards pull a 10 color just fine, you just need to adjust the lead weight on the bottom of the board forward to push the nose of the board down a little bit.  They are also fine for pulling copper up to 200 feet that way.

walleye or TX-22 will do just fine for 10 colors. TX-44 are good for big coppers of 300' or more and are a little overkill for a ten color.
