Geez....my life is BORING in the winter. I gave up skiing when we became a totally self employed family 2 years ago, cause if I get hurt we'd have zero income. Gave up hunting cause that is my busy time with work. So I pretty much work all winter so that I can take off most of the summer.

So I daydream alot while I work, play with the kids and get one fishing trip in to the florida keys every January. Come spring though......I'm a free man to fish & play whenever & wherever I want to :lol::lol:

Grouse hunting, teaching my kids to ski and skate, Steelhead fishing, tying trolling flys, respooling reels, creating new doctored spoon patterns, repairing broken equipment, and most importantly the "HONEY-DO" list.

The only thing to do in the winter - Icefish!

....so, after all the guns are cleaned and put away it's out on the lake to look for soft water......

The last couple of years it has been my job, 6-7 days a week. I'll take it all during the winter. Pays for the summer fishing trips. I make most of my trolling flys in the winter. Tackle and equipment maintainence. If there is open river water near home I'm after walleyes.

YT, why chase? Are they running from you for some reason? Must be the baby blue crocs

I didnt mean it litteraly! I got my share, but nothing worth keeping around! As for the crocs I would like to add that I got 3 pairs for christmas. A new Blue pair, a silver pair, and a black pair. So, be patient and the pics with the crocs will start to flow in!

I am continually anticipating the day I take the cover off the boat and start loading all the equipment & gear back on her. Otherwise, work M-F, spend time with my girlfriend and her kids, play with the puppy, spend time with my 3 y/o niece, go to fishing seminars, and a few odds and ends here and there. I have friends who hunt, but it was never something I got into. Ah, is it spring yet?
