Well, it started out as only going to make a new center rod holder, as I couldn’t find one that I liked, trusted or had a reasonable price. Then a 2nd, then a 3rd. Then how to recess the scale, then how to add a front extension, then how to beef up the hinges. Hmm…what the heck started all over…

I figure about $85 for materials (not including the swivel bases or scale) and the majority of that for stainless screws & nuts.
