Hello All,

I have a Lowrance X125 graph.  The background seems to have gotten darker - like there is less contrast with the pixels that are black.  is there a contrast setting for these graphs?  looked around a bit but couldn't find one.  and the fishing last weekend was steady enough so i didn't take the time to work on it too long!

Perhaps the units sensitivity is set too high? The higher the setting is, the more clutter is shown on the screen. You can actually black out the screen if the setting is too high.

I'm not familiar with that particular unit but I think usually on the Lowrance units you go to the MENU screen and use the PAGES/arrows screens to find the area that the contrast setting would be under . Look at pages 63 and 64 here: http://www.lowrance.com/Root/Lowrance-Documents/x136df_0151-171_112003.pdf

If that doesn't do it reset it back to the factory defaults with that option

Pete,

from the initial power up.....push "menu"......then "enter"......then toggle the up down to reach desired contrast level

what you can't see is the "screen" command is at the top of the menu screen, that is the adjustment for the contrast

I had the same problem with my backup X125, I thought it was junk until I figured it out
