Lake O training

I moved up here a few years ago and I really am struggling to learn to fish with down riggers and planer boards. Set ups, everything. Would anyone be willing to teach me, or recommend a charter that will take me out and teach? I'm not looking for a free day of fishing or a boat ride, I need to learn this and will gladly buck up, just need a teacher! I'm basically tired of looking at YouTube and want to do this right! Any suggestions would help! Thanks

Do you have a boat that you need help setting up correctly?

Or are you looking to go with someone just to see how it's done?

  i sent you a pm as well  but i am out of pultneyville and  would be willing to bring you and a couple buddies out and show/ teach you how to rig  everything up and  catch fish while doing so!  

 

 p-ville  is almost a  straight shot  north to the lake from  canandaigua.

My whole thing is to get out, learn how it's done. I can set the boat up, that's not a problem.

   yea  i am talking about  setting up for  each day ( setting  down riggers, divers,  copper, boards, etc)  and learning the water and  where to start and what to look  to help find the fish and  once you do you find them  figuring out  what  you need to do to make them  bite!
