Just noticed yeasterday that the lake went from crystal clear to to cloudy.  I'm guessing the lake is turning over.  Maybe it's pollen (seems that would stay on top).

Anyone approach the fisheries different when it turns over?

Was out for a bit yesterday. With a light north blow the lake may have turned over a bit, the wind has been south for quite a while taking the warm water off the south end into deeper water. There is a large amount of bait waiting to spawn just off the drop off.  This week/ weekend should be fantastic. Probably get out once more Friday or Sat. Spoon bite, no hits on FF was hitting fish in 80-130 fow. Super slow troll too. 1.5 to 1.8. Good luck!   Finding them is the key!

I think I've answered my question. We went from zero panfish to as many perch as you are willing to fillet.  The panfish are in full spawn mode in the central portion of the lake - great time for a fish fry!
