swivel

Hi Guys

 

This year will be my first fishing experience on Lake Ontario. Can i have some help regarding the swivel to use. Which size i must use and which brand? Did i use the same size for spoon, spin doctor ,flies and dipsy. I will have a lot of question because i bought a lots of things and i'm not sure how to set those(dipsy and spin) .

Small lightweight quality swivels for spoons.  Will need much larger ones for Flashers/flies and Dipsys.

What brand do you recommend?

I have mostly Spro's. On here guys use spro's as well as sampo, dreamweaver, torpedo.  Help me out guys if I have forgotten any???

Just make sure ANY ball bearing swivel you use has solid rings NOT split rings.....the split rings can (an do) cut yor line with heavy fish.

sipseys - looking at 45# Sampo solid rings

 

Clean Spoons/cranks?
