new to the rochester area - best spots to fish?

Hey all I'm new to the Rochester area and I've been dying to get fishing since I moved but I'm boatless so I've been wondering where are the best spots on shore around the city??

In the river fish the West Bank at turning point or Seth green drive by the island. Use bright and noisy bait. The river is has bad viability. Our #1 lure in the river is a 3/4 oz silver little Cleo. Turning point has big bass, northers and walleye . But fish the West Bank in the cattails and trees. The bottom structure is fantastic.
