Man that is a whale!!! It looks like she got some battle scars also, can't imagine what size fish would be scraping with that monster, I bet you had a blast getting that beast in, in a canoe. Great pics. and report thanks for sharing that with us. PAP.

Now you are talking my language! We pull monster northerns thru the ice here on the Great Sacandaga (former world records northern was from the GSL)..did you weigh her? I am thinking a 42" post spawn would be in the low 20lb range? Our largest northern thru the ice is 48" weighing 36lbs. Here is one we got back a few years ago.

We had it anchored, so no. But as soon as I saw the size of the monster, i back way off the drag. Only had 10 pound florocarbon fishing for bass.

Oh, maaannn!! SSsswwwwweeeeeet! I'm a weight orientated fisher and I'd venture to guess maybe 16 lbs.......maybe 5 more....(what a spread).....and Adk1.....tell me you are not really short ....That hog you've got is massive....fisherman 21; U the MAN!
