Left Genesee River at 6:15 and headed West. Fished in 15'-25' with planers and riggers. Did one steelie early, had a lull and then did 8 Browns including this 14.5 lb porker, my biggest ever. The cooler in the picture is a huge cooler so the photo does not do the fish justice. Fish took NBK Stingers, some perch colored Rapala sticks and copper colored stinger that had black dots (can't remember name).

Special thanks to the guys on my dock who gave me a great starting point- I would have never been fishing Brownies yesterday if they hadn't set me straight.

Very nice. Bet it was full of Gobies.

No gobies, fished that pod Fri. Sat. and Sun. and when the fish hit the deck they were spitting up alewives and smelt. Great looking brown our best was 11.7 ........ could have used one like that though. Week end produced 2 skippy kings a bunch of chickens (lakers) and a great class of browns.

Nice fish Rich.  I didn't have the gear to stay in there so we moved out to 100-200 of Braddock's.  Did 1 steelie, 2 for 3 on lakers.  All on the 5 color lead core.

Congratulations...  We too caught some nice browns in very shallow water, 8 to 10 feet, on Saturday and Sunday near the Sandy Creek shoreline....Our best lures were blue and silver stingers...There was plenty of bait in there, and you could see the sawbellies jumping in the boat's wake.  We also caught a nice steelhead...Picker Pines
