Just started fishing Lake Ontario late last year.

I have been fishing in 100 to 120 ft water near Bronte Creek and have caught a few fish 3 to 4 lbs. Where would I go that is not too far to catch either a good number of fish or larger fish this time of the year?

Your not doing anything wrong. It's been a slow start but things are picking up, try closer to bottom and you should bring good numbers of lakers. Big tournament this Saturday out of Bluffers so don't be surprised if not too many are talking.

Im in the same boat you are big guy. All I have been doing is reading the forums a lot. Read back in the previous posts from last year too. This forum is good and so is spoonpullers. Try this one as well http://www.lakesimcoeoutdoors.com/forums/?showforum=13.

Then I go out and try the things i have read. To date i have no monsters in the boat but I have improved each time out.

Another thing I have been doing is monitoring Channel 10 on the radio. Sometimes guys give out depths and colors
