I don't know if this stuff will work for your stringers, but you must use the right wood. I'll get back when I find out what type of wood makes a good stringer.

It is said to be 3 times stronger than wood. You cut the top off the stringer and poor it full. saves labor but cost more than wood. Also it dies not rot or absorb water.

I bought it.

You need a long wood boring bit and a low gear drive drill that you can control

the speed. I used a 20 inch bar huskvarna saw to get the rest.

Will be pouring in the next several weeks.

The stringers are replaced with "douglas fir". They have to be cut out, removed and set perfectly in place. Then they are encapsulated in epoxy and glass cloth. If they are more than a quarter inch off, the lower unit bearings will fail shortly. You may need to have a boat yard place to do this since there isn't much room for error and you don't want to do it in the boating season.
