Does anyone still use Evil Eye spoons for Trout or Salmon on Lake Ontario? I have a bunch from the 80's that have been sitting in a box for nearly 30 years. They use to be a mainstay back then but don't hear anything about them anymore. I was considering selling them if they aren't getting the job done these days.

They still catch plenty of fish if you run them in the proper spread.  Evil eyes are speed sensitive and run best at speeds slower than most people are trolling these days.

Still one of my favorite lures...a couple years ago I bought out over a hundred of them at one crack. They often will work when other lures fail to do anything...like everything else learning the specific speed range for your boat is key to success with them.

Thanks for all the input. They must still be hot with the right presentation cause my IM blew up like I was giving away free BEER.
