Fished quite a bit for the last few weeks. The laker bite has been very good. I've been fishing north of the plant, long point and sheldrake. Depth varies from 60 to 120. Wires doing most of the damage a few feet off bottom. I have been catching salmon but nothing of substance in the last week. Lots of 16 to 17 inchers. They have been down 30 to 50. Green flies behind silver or trash can dodgers have been hot. Fingerlakes spoons in green or alwive have been taking salmon. Fleas are in full bloom. Weeds are tolorable if you can look forward and work around them. Good luck to all next weekend in the red cross derby. I have charters and won't be entering.
