Been having some trouble w/ my outboard. Worked on it & dropped it in the canal at the launch west of Brockport Sat  noon & this morn again. I forgot how good the fishing can be in there. In about 3 hrs fishing the last few days I think I landed about 30  Smallmouths & Rockbass & lost more than a few more ,one I think was a walleye. .  I got a few 14-15"ers but most were smaller fish . A lot of action for some fun. Drop shotting small brighter  senco types were the best w/ Shaky head a close second. Transition areas from straight wall to rock were best. Did best at the widewaters & spillway .
