yesterday was brutal out there. 3-4's and horrible bite.  we got 2 of those dink browns on mag spoons that we dragged around on riggers before we checked the lines.

fished the north dune,120-130.picked up one laker and lost two,slid into 80 ft to try to get some browns and picked up 7lb king and a brown about the size of the spoon we got him on.got the king on a alwife spoon on the bottom.did have nice marks on the screen in 124 ft and also some in at 80.

Got a small steelhead and dink brown Friday where the train was set up by the north dunes over 130. Got the brown 110 down on a meat rig and the steelie 95 down green/white FF.

I've had those strip ON me as well... I added a self tapping screw to it .. once a rod is in place i Jack the screw all the down... its worked GREAT ever since

My islander came with the tite locks which are aluminum..great for the walleye fishermen, not so great for salmon running dipsey sets. I changed them out for Berts first thing
