Sandy pond

On the water at 6:30. Ran out to 150 fow. Marked a couple stragglers right away. Dropped down to 75 in 150 . 9:00 brought a 27 lb king. While fighting it another took dipsy with FF. Took off screaming and broke off the whole rig. Ended at noon with one king one brown. No bait fish anywhere, just occasionally a single straggler.

I heard the pond is back to normal height? Thinking of docking my boat at Greenpoint for the month of August. 

 

At least you put a decent salmon in the box.  I'm hoping to break that 30LB mark this year.

I launch out of Selkirk state park. Haven't been on the pond at all this summer I fish west of the pond on the big water. I do know the pond was extremely low this spring.

There is plenty of water in the pond and the chanel was dredged.
