Does anyone have one of these? I Have a 165 hp inboard outboard and I bought one of these on ebay for 60 bucks shipped last night. I have been re- doing an old boat and am guessing it will have a hard time trolling down so seeing the "deal" I figured I would jump on it. Anyone who has one, what do you think about them? Was it a wise purchase? Any issues with these? Are they hard to install? I doubt a manual will come with it. How do they go on? Thanks for the help

Yuck. Sorry almost no one sticks with them. Try it and you will see, they work kinda but are a pain.

I'm just getting back into fishing LO and that's what we used to use. although a different brand. I will most likely add it to my current boat as it is cheaper than a kicker.

Use mine more in the spring fishing browns in cold water works mint can drop speed to .75 mph with it without I could not get below 2 mph. The other option is to adjust your idle screw

I ran an easy troller plate on my Trophy and loved it. Would never run a bag personally.

What don't you like about bags?  I had a trolling plate on my first boat and found it to be absolutely worthless!!  My Amish Outfitter Beefy Bags do a great job, much happier with them.
