Lake Ontario Boat Requirements

Are there any particular unique requirements of a vessel on Lake Ontario as far as regulations go? I.e. safety requirements if  I should be boarded?

There was a post on this a while back, I can't remember if it was weeks or months ago, the guys had every thing listed that one needs to have on board for the coast guard requirements it is very detailed, you might have to search a little. PAP

Big consideration is length of your boat. That determines most of the minimum requirements. For the most part, the requirements are the same across NYS.
